Synthetic food colors are important ingredients in the industry. These synthetic colorants azo dyes, majorly acidic nature such as Allura red and Tartrazine. They present sweets, carbonated drinks, meat products, candies to attract consumers. This review article is an attempt explain adverse effects of dyes their association with oral cavities cardiovascular disorders. (azo dyes) have staining on dentin. Poor dental care accelerates bacterial accumulation crown (Gram-negative bacteria P. gingivalis, T. denticola, forsythia Gram-positive Strep. Gordonii), causing washing enamel, forming plaque. Bacterial pathogens (P. ginigivalis F. nacleatum) release different chemicals (FadA Fap2) that bind protein cell by producing inflammatory response through line-host defenses, Gingival epithelial cells (ECs), Hemi-desmosomes, desmosomes, which helps bacterium migration from cell–cell junction. makes junctions slightly open up whole vessel permeable, enters into blood stream line. leads major arteries, carotid artery, causes plaque cardiac species gums cause diseases, ischemic heart disease, coronary artery attacks strokes, arrhythmias, can lead death.
